Dr. Claudette Gbemudu-Jatto is a trailblazer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, as the first African American woman to own and operate an internal medicine and wellness practice in the area. A board-certified internist and lifestyle medicine physician, Dr. Jatto is committed to delivering comprehensive, personalized care that empowers patients to take control of their health.

Dr. Jatto received her medical degree from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, completed her internship at Howard University Hospital, and her internal medicine residency through the Georgetown program at D.C. General Hospital. She has practiced internal medicine since 2000, combining acute care in hospitals with a thriving outpatient practice in South Central Pennsylvania.

At Jatto Internal Medicine and Wellness Center, Dr. Jatto integrates modern medical technology with a patient-centered approach to promote balanced, healthy lifestyles. The practice emphasizes lifestyle medicine as the foundation of treatment, focusing on the root causes of health issues and offering personalized wellness plans for each patient.
